NFB Webinar: Marine Structures

Presentation

On the 2nd October  our norwegian members NFB (Norsk Forening for Betongrehabilitering), the Norwegian association for concrete repair, held a new webinar in partnership with ACRP about “Marine Structures”.

Join this specialized seminar to explore the latest advancements in concrete technologies for marine environments. The program features technical presentations on the design, maintenance, and rehabilitation of concrete infrastructure exposed to harsh conditions.

Date

  • 2nd October
  • 02:00 PM – 04:00 PM

Key Topics:

  • Slipforming techniques for marine structures: planning, operations, and minimizing surface defects.

  • Maintenance strategies for offshore concrete structures: degradation mechanisms, durability, and life extension.

  • Rehabilitation of concrete bridges in Nordic climates: challenges and practical approaches.

  • Cathodic protection with conductive paint: long-term performance on coastal structures.

  • Decision support tools for extending the service life of existing infrastructure.

This special webinar can be viewed by registering by filling in the form at the bottom of this page. Attendees will be able to enjoy the content afterwards and will receive the conference book of the session.
