ACRP attends Eurobridge 2026, Europe’s key forum on infrastructure maintenance and safety

The 2026 edition of Eurobridge, the European conference dedicated to infrastructure safety and maintenance, took place on 10 April in Brussels, bringing together policymakers, infrastructure operators, engineers and industry representatives from across Europe.

Organised as a high-level platform for dialogue, Eurobridge addressed one of the most pressing challenges facing the sector: the ageing of Europe’s transport infrastructure. With a significant share of bridges, roads and tunnels built over 50 years ago, maintenance and rehabilitation have become a strategic priority at EU level, particularly within the framework of the revised TEN-T regulation.

The conference explored key topics such as innovative maintenance models, the integration of digital and AI-based tools, sustainability and carbon impact, as well as the development of new skills required for the sector. The programme also included case studies and a political roundtable focused on European transport priorities.

On behalf of ACRP, José Blanco, Secretary General of the association, attended the event, reinforcing ACRP’s commitment to contributing to the European dialogue on infrastructure resilience, safety and long-term asset management.

Eurobridge continues to position itself as a relevant meeting point for aligning technical expertise with policy development, fostering collaboration between stakeholders and promoting investment in infrastructure maintenance across Europe.
