Andreas Brandner, confirmed speaker of the European Conference 2024

We are pleased to announce that Andreas Brandner will be one of the speakers sharing his knowledge with the audience at the European Conference 2024.

Andreas Brandner is the owner of IB-Brandner, a consulting engineering firm in Innsbruck, Austria, specialising in geotechnical and civil engineering problems in mountain areas. A graduate of the Technical University of Innsbruck, he has more than 40 years of worldwide working experience in difficult environments and is the author of more than 25 technical papers.

Since 2008 he has been Chairman of the Civil Engineers section of the Austrian Chamber of Engineers. Since October 2021 he is President of the ECCE. He is also a member of ISSMGE – Austrian Branch, DFI and ISM, OITAF. He brings his experience as member of the European Committee for Standardisation CEN TC242 WG2, WG7, WG 14, WG 16 for safety requirements for passenger cableway installations, and member of the Austrian Standards, Committees 023 Geotechnics, 048 ropes, 212 ropeways, 269 Smart and Sustainable Cities.
