The ACRP is already preparing for the European Conference to be held on 28 November in Madrid.
While we are finalising the programme that will take place at the event with different talks and round tables, the Association is looking for high-level speakers. Important personalities of the sector will be present at the annual event and we will also have speakers of great relevance.
The first confirmed speaker is Mr. Eric Hauth, Executive Director of ICRI. The chosen topic is: Concrete repair in the USA and Canada.
Eric Hauth has more than 25 years of leadership and management experience with membership-based trade associations and not-for-profit organizations in the United States.
For the past 5 years, Mr. Hauth has served as the Executive Director of the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI), the only membership organization in North America specifically dedicated to concrete repair and restoration.
During that time, he has helped guide and grow the organization’s staff team and overall membership. Working closely with the ICRI Board of Directors, Mr. Hauth has led efforts to expand ICRI’s international presence, Spring and Fall Conventions, certification programs, and new educational programs.
He also oversaw the development and launch of ICRI’s first digital app.
This digital app, available on both Apple and Google Play stores, is designed to assess the cleanliness of rebar in accordance with ICRI’s newly published 210.5-2023 – Guide for Selecting and Specifying Reinforcing Bar Cleaning Levels.
In his role as Executive Director, Mr. Hauth represents ICRI as a voting board member on the National Concrete Bridge Council – a council of allied industry organizations dedicated to quality concrete bridge construction in North America.
Mr. Hauth is also a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and a current participant in CEOSync, a CEO peer-sharing organization of associations
throughout his home state of Minnesota.
Mr. Hauth holds a Master of Science Degree in Applied Economics (University of Minnesota) and Master of Arts in Political Science (University of California – Riverside). Last, Mr. Hauth holds dual US/EU (Republic of Ireland) citizenship.
