RILEM signs an international partnership agreement with ACRP

6/11/2020

The International Union of Laboratories and Experts in Construction Materials Systems and Structures (RILEM) has signed an international partnership agreement with ACRP.

The purpose of this Agreement is to encourage collaboration and co-operation between the parties for the purpose of improving technical understanding and practical applications related the assessment and execution of repair, reinforce and /or protection projects of any kind of construction by making technical expertise of each Partner available to the other through publications, meetings, conferences, Internet links, and any other activity as mutually agreed

This way, active engagement between RILEM and industry partners associated with ACRP is encouraged, to facilitate the successful exchange of information between research and practice.

One of the most helpful ways to achieve the common goal of this agreement is by participating in the common working groups.

Especially important is that of Working Group on Circular Economy. The goal of this working group is to produce a double deliverable: a short guide about how to make happen the circular economy in the construction sector, and a dedicated website with much more information about the topic, case stories and practical information.
