Born in the UK and now a Belgian citizen, Sue Arundale has built an impressive career in EU affairs, spanning over 27 years, with more than 16 years dedicated to working with international member organizations.
Sue’s commitment to enhancing services for members led her to pursue a Master’s Degree in Leading Innovation and Change, where her thesis focused on adding value in member organizations.
She also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in EU Law, further underscoring her expertise in navigating the complexities of European regulations and policies.
From 2013 to 2021, Sue made significant contributions to the construction industry as a lobbyist, representing contractors.
In her role as Director of Technical and Environmental Affairs at the European Construction Industry Federation (FIEC) and as President of the European Council for Construction Research, Development and Innovation (ECCREDI), she played a pivotal role in shaping policy developments that impacted the industry.
Her passion for construction, coupled with her advocacy for new technologies, digitalization, and innovation, has been a driving force behind her work.
Since July 2022, Sue has been working with the European Federation of Consulting Associations (EFCA), continuing her dedication to fostering collaboration and innovation in the industry.
Her vast experience and expertise make her a highly anticipated speaker at the European Conference 2025.
