The programme for the NBF Marine Structures Webinar is now available

The Norwegian Concrete Rehabilitation Association (NFB), in partnership with ACRP (the European Association for Construction Repair, Reinforcement and Protection), is set to present an expert-led webinar on “Marine Structures” on 2 October 2025.
The seminar will feature a insightful presentations covering key topics such as:
Slipforming of marine structures by Kjell Tore Fosså, Aker Solutions and he will take you through the production of marine concrete structures, planning and operation and how to minimize the risk for any surface defects.
You will also hear about maintenance of the offshore concrete structures from Jelena Zivkovic, Equinor and she will take you through the durability of offshore concrete structures, degradation mechanisms, maintenance strategy and service life extension.
Karla Hornbostel from the Norwegian Public Roads Administration’s (NPRA) will talk about concrete Rehabilitation of bridges – Challenges and Strategies and the presentation will provide insight into the (NPRA) approach to maintaining and rehabilitating aging concrete infrastructure, particularly in harsh Nordic environments.
Roy Eivind Antonsen from Sintef will talk bout conductive paint and cathodic protection of costal concrete structures, performance after soon 10 years’ service on a Norwegian coastal bridge, conductive paint test fields on coastal bridges and paint generation.
You will also hear about the Excon-R&D project towards multicriteria decision support for extended service life of existing civil infrastructure from Tor Arne Martius-Hammer, Sintef.
